LEICESTER LOCAL MEETING DIARY: November 2018

Friends Meeting House, Queens Road, Leicester LE2 1WP

Meeting for Worship. At the Meeting House weekly on Sunday at 10.30 - 11.30am and Wednesday at 12.30 - 1.00pm. Children are welcome to all Meetings for Worship, being present for the first 10 minutes each Sunday morning before continuing their own meeting in the Meeting House library.

Themed, led and inclusive meeting held in the Meeting House library.
Additional to normal Meeting for Worship.
Appeal:for the Fine Fell Work Charity which makes handmade products in
British prisons. Teaching prisoners high-quality needlework boosts their self-
worth, helps self-discipline and fostering hope and encouragement to lead
independent lives.

Coming and other Events:

Death Café: Get together with a small group of interested people in a friendly, relaxed environment and chat about a subject which is often hard to talk about or taboo in today’s society.  As part of Interfaith Week on Sunday November 18th, 2 - 4pm at the Meeting House.
